કિડની કે યકૃતની સમસ્યાના ઈતિહાસવાળા દર્દીઓમાં, પોરફીરિયા (આ એક જૂજ વારસાગત લોહીનો વિકાર છે) હોય, અન્ય એન્ટિહિસ્ટેમાઈન કે અન્ય બીજી દવા પ્રત્યે ક્યારેય એલર્જીક પ્રતિક્રિયા થઈ હોય તેવા દર્દીઓમાં, વયોવૃધ્ધ અને 12 વર્ષ કરતાં ઓછી ઉંમરના બાળકોમાં સાવધાનીપૂર્વક આપવી જોઈએ.
