બીટાહિસ્ટિન હિસ્ટેમિન એનાલોગ નામની દવાઓનાં સમુહ સાથે સંબંધ ધરાવે છે. આ કાન ના અંદરના ભાગમાં લોહીના પ્રવાહને વધુ સારો બનાવવા માટે કામ કરે છે, જેનાથી ચક્કર, ટિનીટસ, બહેરાપણુ અને ઉબકાનું કારણ બનવાવાળા દબાવનું નિર્માણ ઓછું થાય છે.

બેટાહિસ્ટાઇન લીધા પછી ડ્રાઇવ કરવું નહીં કે ભારે મશીન ચલાવવા નહીં કેમ કે તેનાથી તમને સુસ્તી થતી હોય તેવું લાગી શકે.
