દિવસ થતાં ઊઠ્યા પછી અને સવારની ચ્હા, નાસ્તો કે બીજી કોઈ દવા લેતાં પહેલાં એલેનડ્રોનિક એસિડ દવા લેવી. આ દવા ખાલી પેટે લેવી જરૂરી છે, કેમ કે ખોરાક અને અન્ય પીણાં દવાને શોષવામાં અવરોધક બને. કોઈપણ નાસ્તો કે પીણું કે દવા લેતાં પહેલાં, આ દવા લીધા પછી ઓછામાં ઓછી 30 મિનિટ (પ્રાધાન્ય 1-2 કલાક) રાહ જોવી.
આ ગોળી ઊતારી જવી નહીં, ચાવવી કે ચૂસવી નહીં, કેમ કે તેનાથી મોંમાં બળતરા કે અલ્સર થઇ શકે. તમારે આ ગોળી લેતાં પહેલાં સાદા પાણીના ગ્લાસમાં તે ઓગાળવી અથવા ખૂબ પ્રમાણમાં સાદા પાણી સાથે લેવી. દવા લીધા પછી ઓછામાં ઓછી ત્રીસ મિનિટ પૂરેપૂરા સીધા (બેઠેલા, ઊભેલા કે ચાલતાં) રહો અને દિવસનો પ્રથમ ખોરાક ન લો ત્યાં સુધી આડા પડો નહીં.
એલેનડ્રોનિક એસિડ અન્નનળીનું ધોવાણ કરે કે અલ્સર કરી શકે. આ દવા લેતી વખતે તે ગળે ઉતારવામાં તકલીફ થાય કે છાતીમાં દુખાવો થાય તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો, કેમ કે આ અન્નનળીનું ધોવાણ કે અલ્સર થવાની પૂર્વે નિશાની હોય શકે.
એલેનડ્રોનિક એસિડ લેતાં પહેલાં, તમને કોઈ તબીબી સ્થિતિ, ખાસ કરીને અન્નનળીનો કોઇ વિકાર હોય, કિડનીનો રોગ, કેલ્શિમની ઓછી સપાટી, પેટ કે આંતરડાની સમસ્યા (અલ્સર, હૃદયમાં બળતરા), પેઢામાં રોગ, દાંત કઢાવવાનું આયોજન હોય તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો.
સામાન્યપણે દાંતની કાર્યવાહી બાદ જડબામાં દુખાવો થાય તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો. કોઈપણ દંતવિષયક ચેપ કે દાંતની કાયવાહી જડબાની સમસ્યાનું જોખમ મા વધારો કરશે,. આ દવા લો ત્યારે મોંનું સ્વાસ્થ્ય સારું જાળવવામાં આવે અને નિયમિત દાંતની તપાસ હાથ ધરાય તે મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે.
સામાન્યરીતે સારવારની શરૂઆતમાં એલેનડ્રોનિક એસિડથી હંગામી ફ્લૂ જેવાં સિંડ્રોમ, સામાન્યરીતે ઠીક ન હોવાની લાગણી અને ક્યારેક તાવ અનુભવાય.
આ દવા લો ત્યારે તમે સગર્ભા હોય કે સગર્ભા બન્યા હોવ તો તત્કાલ તમારા ડોકટરને તેની જાણ કરો.

જો તમને સાથળ કે જંઘામૂળમાં દુખાવો થાય તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો.
તમારી કસરતની રોજિંદી પ્રક્રિયાના ભાગ તરીકે વજન ઊંચકવાની કસરતો ઉમેરવા અંગે વિચારવું.

It should be taken in the morning after getting up on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. Do not lie down and stay fully upright for at least 30 minutes after swallowing the medicine. Avoid taking any food or medication for the next 30 mins after taking this medicine. Take this medicine only after consulting the doctor and follow the instructions advised.

No, one should not lie down after taking Restofos 10mg Tablet. This is because there is a possibility that the medication might come back up into the esophagus (food pipe) and even damage the esophagus. Staying upright will help the medicine to settle down quickly in your stomach and prevent side effects like heartburn and pain.
