જો તમે મેટોપ્રોલોલ અથવા ટીકડીના અન્ય કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્ત્વ પ્રત્યે એલર્જીક હોવ તો મેટોપ્રોલોલ લેવી નહીં. પ્રથમ થોડાક દિવસોમાં દવાથી ચક્કર આવી શકે. આ દવાનો ઉપયોગ કર્યા પછી જો તમને ચક્કર કે થાક લાગે તો ડ્રાઈવ કરવું નહીં કે કોઈપણ સાધન કે મશીનોનો ઉપયોગ કરવો નહીં.
- ખાસ કરીને ઈસ્કેમિક હૃદયના રોગમાં અચાનક બંધ કરવાનું નિવારો.
