Glunil Eye Drop આંખ(ખો)માં દબાણ ઓછું કરીને કાર્ય કરે છે જેથી દ્રષ્ટિના ક્રમિક નુકસાનને રોકી શકાય.
ટિમોલોલ દવાઓની બીટા બ્લોકર નામની શ્રેણી સાથે સંબંધ ધરાવે છે. આ રક્તવાહિનીઓને આરામ પહોંચાડે છે અને રક્તદાબને ઓછું કરે છે. આ હ્રદયને આરામ પહોંચાડે છે અને હ્રદયરોગના દરદીઓ માટે લોહીને ધીમી ગતિથી પમ્પ કરે છે. આંખોમાં આ પ્રવાહીના ઉત્પાદનને ઓછુ કરે છે અને આમ દબાણ ઓછુ કરે છે.

- ટિમોલોલ અથવા અન્ય બિટા-બ્લોકર અથવા ટીકડીના અન્ય કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્ત્વ પ્રત્યે એલર્જીક હોય તેવા દર્દીઓ દ્વારા તે લેવી જોઈએ નહીં.
- જો તમે લોહીના ઊંચા દબાણ કે હૃદયની સ્થિતિ માટે અન્ય બીજી દવા લઈ રહ્યા હોવ અથવા અન્ય બિટા-બ્લોકર લઈ રહ્યા હોવ તો ટિમોલોલ શરૂ કરવી નહીં કે ચાલુ રાખવી નહીં.
- જો તમને અસ્થમા કે અન્ય શ્વસનનો રોગ હોય જેનાથી શ્વસનની સમસ્યાઓ (એટલે કે દીર્ધકાલિન બ્રોન્કાઈટિસ, એમ્ફીસેમા વગેરે) થાય તો ટિમોલોલ લેવાનું નિવારો.
- જો તમને ડાયાબિટીસ, થાઈરોઈડનો વિકાર, યકૃત કે કિડનીની સમસ્યા અથવા અલ્સર, ફિઓક્રોમોસાયટોમા (મૂત્રપિંડ ગ્રંથિની ગાંઠ જેનાથી સતત કે પ્રાસંગિક લોહીમાં ઊંચું દબાણ) હોય તો ટિમોલોલ શરૂ કરવી નહીં કે ચાલુ રાખવી નહીં.
- જો તમે સ્તનપાન કરાવતા હોવ અથવા સગર્ભા હોવ તો ટિમોલોલ લેવાનું નિવારો.
- ડ્રાઈવ કરવું નહીં કે મશીનો ચલાવવાં નહીં કેમ કે ટિમોલોલથી ચક્કર કે થકાવટ થઈ શકે.

Q. What does Glunil Eye Drop do?
Glunil Eye Drop reduces the pressure inside the eyes, known as intraocular pressure. This helps to reduce the risk of damage to the optic nerve which is responsible for normal vision. If the pressure in the eye is not controlled, it can gradually with time lead to blindness. Glunil Eye Drop effectively controls ocular hypertension and certain types of glaucoma by decreasing the pressure in the eyes.
Q. How should you use Glunil Eye Drop?
Glunil Eye Drop eye drops are usually instilled once or twice a day at evenly spaced intervals until the pressure in the eye is controlled (about 4 weeks). After that, it can be instilled once a day or as advised by the doctor. Follow the directions of your doctor carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand. Use Glunil Eye Drop in the dose and duration advised by your doctor.
Q. Can I stop Glunil Eye Drop if I am fine now?
No, you should not stop using Glunil Eye Drop without consulting your doctor. If you stop taking this medicine suddenly, the pressure in your eyes may not be controlled which may increase the risk of loss of sight.
