ટિમોલોલ અથવા અન્ય બિટા-બ્લોકર અથવા ટીકડીના અન્ય કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્ત્વ પ્રત્યે એલર્જીક હોય તેવા દર્દીઓ દ્વારા તે લેવી જોઈએ નહીં.
જો તમે લોહીના ઊંચા દબાણ કે હૃદયની સ્થિતિ માટે અન્ય બીજી દવા લઈ રહ્યા હોવ અથવા અન્ય બિટા-બ્લોકર લઈ રહ્યા હોવ તો ટિમોલોલ શરૂ કરવી નહીં કે ચાલુ રાખવી નહીં.
જો તમને અસ્થમા કે અન્ય શ્વસનનો રોગ હોય જેનાથી શ્વસનની સમસ્યાઓ (એટલે કે દીર્ધકાલિન બ્રોન્કાઈટિસ, એમ્ફીસેમા વગેરે) થાય તો ટિમોલોલ લેવાનું નિવારો.
જો તમને ડાયાબિટીસ, થાઈરોઈડનો વિકાર, યકૃત કે કિડનીની સમસ્યા અથવા અલ્સર, ફિઓક્રોમોસાયટોમા (મૂત્રપિંડ ગ્રંથિની ગાંઠ જેનાથી સતત કે પ્રાસંગિક લોહીમાં ઊંચું દબાણ) હોય તો ટિમોલોલ શરૂ કરવી નહીં કે ચાલુ રાખવી નહીં.
જો તમે સ્તનપાન કરાવતા હોવ અથવા સગર્ભા હોવ તો ટિમોલોલ લેવાનું નિવારો.

Timol P Eye Drop effectively controls ocular hypertension and certain types of glaucoma by decreasing the pressure in the eyes.

Timol P Eye Drop eye drops are usually instilled once or twice a day at evenly spaced intervals until the pressure in the eye is controlled (about 4 weeks). After that, it can be instilled once a day or as advised by the doctor. Follow the directions of your doctor carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand. Use Timol P Eye Drop in the dose and duration advised by your doctor.

No, you should not stop using Timol P Eye Drop without consulting your doctor. If you stop taking this medicine suddenly, the pressure in your eyes may not be controlled which may increase the risk of loss of sight.
