During radiotherapy, chemotherapy, abdominal infection, or any major surgeries, the dead cells in the body start releasing a chemical called serotonin directly into the blood. Later, this stimulates special centers in the body that are responsible for inducing vomiting in your child. Giving Vomikind-MD 2 Tablet just before the procedure helps block the effect of this chemical on vomiting centers of the brain and prevents vomiting.

Apart from this, Vomikind-MD 2 Tablet is also found useful in treating vomiting caused due to diseases of the stomach. In such a case, your child’s doctor may prescribe giving Vomikind-MD 2 Tablet to your child for a few days. Stick to the dose for best results.

Vomikind-MD 2 Tablet is unlikely to cause harm if you give an extra dose by mistake. However, you must still speak to your child’s doctor immediately. Sometimes, excessive intake of Vomikind-MD 2 Tablet can cause some serious side effects like excess sleepiness, agitation, rapid heartbeat, hypertension, flushing, dilated pupils, sweating, involuntary muscle jerk, uncontrolled eye movements, overactive reflexes, and seizures.
