How apiquis tablet works
Apiquis 5 Tablet is a novel oral anticoagulant (NOAC) that helps prevent blood clot formation. It works by directly and selectively inhibiting factor Xa, an important clotting factor involved in thrombin generation. It reduces thrombin formation and helps prevent the development and spread of blood clots.

Apiquis 5 Tablet is generally safe when taken exactly as prescribed, but like all blood thinners, it can increase the risk of bleeding. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor, as stopping suddenly may raise the risk of blood clots. In rare cases, people who receive spinal or epidural anesthesia or undergo a spinal puncture while taking this medicine may develop a blood clot around the spine, which can cause serious complications. Always inform your doctor before any such procedure so that appropriate precautions can be taken.
