Q. How many times should I apply B-Floren Eye Drop in a day?

Ideally, you should use the drops regularly, 3 times a day for 7 days or as prescribed by your doctor.

Q. How long does B-Floren Eye Drop take to work?

B-Floren Eye Drop starts working as early as 3 days. The itching and discharge (if any) are the first ones to get better. Pain and soreness may take a little longer to resolve, as long as 7 days. But, if it takes longer, or if your symptoms do not subside or get worse, please consult your doctor immediately.

Q. Is B-Floren Eye Drop safe to use for a long time?

B-Floren Eye Drop should not be used for more than 7 days unless your doctor tells you to. Due to prolonged use, the bacterial infection may become resistant to B-Floren Eye Drop which means it will no longer work properly. Please talk to your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms. He/she may change the dose or probably prescribe a different medicine.

Q. How is B-Floren Eye Drop used?

Wash your hands thoroughly prior to using B-Floren Eye Drop. Invert closed bottle (upside down) and shake once before each use. Remove cap with bottle still in the inverted position. Tilt head back, and with bottle inverted, gently squeeze bottle to instill one drop into the affected eye(s). Close your eyes for at least 2-3 minutes so that the medicine does not drain out of the eye(s).

Q. Can I use B-Floren Eye Drop with contact lenses?

No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling B-Floren Eye Drop. You can re-insert the lens 15 minutes after using B-Floren Eye Drop. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.

Q. Can I use any other eye drop along with B-Floren Eye Drop?

Always consult your doctor before using any other eye drops along with B-Floren Eye Drop. It is advisable to give a gap of atleast 10-15 minutes between the two medications.

You should contact your doctor immediately if you develop eye pain, severe eye irritation, and redness. Also, you should inform the doctor if you have an eye injury or eye surgery. Discuss with your doctor if you have to continue using B-Floren Eye Drop.

Q. In which conditions the use of B-Floren Eye Drop should be avoided?

Use of B-Floren Eye Drop should be avoided in patients who are allergic to it or any of its components. However, if you are not aware of any allergy or if you are using this medicine for the first time, consult your doctor.

Q. Does B-Floren Eye Drop cause a burning sensation in the eyes?

Yes, when you instill the eye drops for the first time, it can make your eyes watery and may cause a slight burning sensation. If this happens, it will subside quickly. Inform your doctor if discomfort continues for a longer period of time.

Q. Is B-Floren Eye Drop an antibiotic?

Yes, B-Floren Eye Drop belongs to a class of medicines known as quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Q. Should I keep B-Floren Eye Drop in the refrigerator?

You do not need to refrigerate B-Floren Eye Drop after opening the bottle. However, store it in a cool place and below 30℃. Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
