Baidyanath Amritarishta is a classical ayurvedic formulation harnessing the potent benefits of Amruta or Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) and other herbs that finds use in managing infections and reducing inflammatory reactions in the body. It helps balance vata and kapha dosha in the body and is beneficial in managing high body temperature, indigestion, various kinds of infectious disorders etc. Amritarishta contains about 5-8 % of self-generated natural alcohol in it. This self-generated alcohol and the water present in the formulation act as a medium to deliver water and alcohol-soluble active herbal components to the body.

Baidyanath Amritarishta contains self-generated alcohol derived from dhataki flowers, which are used in ayurvedic arishtas and asavas for the purpose of fermentation. Also this formula is free from yeast, as it uses herbs and jaggery for fermentation.
