Aciloc 150 Tablet works by blocking histamine H2 receptors on the acid-producing cells of the stomach. This reduces both basal and stimulated secretion of gastric acid, lowering the volume and acidity of stomach contents. By decreasing acid production, ranitidine helps relieve acid-related symptoms and allows irritated or ulcerated areas of the stomach and esophagus to heal.

- If you are also taking other medications to treat acidity (e.g., antacid), take them 2 hours before or after taking Ranitidine.

Eat slowly and chew your food carefully. Try not to rush while having meals. You should stop or cut down on smoking.
Q. Can I take alcohol with Aciloc 150 Tablet?
Alcohol does not interfere with the working of Aciloc 150 Tablet. However, you should avoid taking alcohol as it may further damage the stomach, delaying your recovery.
