Faxicad 400 Tablet का इस्तेमाल संक्रमित डायरिया (दस्त लगना ) और हेपाटिक एन्सेफालोपैथी में किया जाता है इसका इस्तेमाल वयस्कों और बच्चों ( 2 साल से अधिक उम्र के) में होने वाले संक्रमित दस्त (डायरिया) के इलाज में किया जाता है।

रिफाक्सिमिन एक व्यापक वर्णक्रम बैक्टीरिया रोधी दवा है जो सिर्फ आंत में बैक्टीरिया के संक्रमण से लड़ता है। रिफाक्सिमिन, बैक्टीरिया की वृद्धि को रोकता है जो टोक्सिन उत्पन्न करता है और जो लीवर के रोग को बद से बदतर कर सकता है।
