Pegasta Injection માટે નિષ્ણાતની સલાહ
- શરીર પર ઈંજેક્ટરનો (પેગફિલગ્રાસ્ટિમ વાપરવામાં સહાય કરવા તમારા શરીર પર લગાડેલ નાનું ડિવાઇસ) ઉપયોગ કર્યા પછી લગભગ 30 કલાક મુસાફરી ન કરવી, ડ્રાઇવ કરવું નહીં કે મશીનરી ચલાવવી નહીં.
- સારવાર દરમિયાન સંપૂર્ણ લોહી કાઉન્ટની (વિવિધ શ્વેતકોષો અને પ્લેટલેટ કાઉન્ટ સહિત) અને બરોળના કદની તમારે વારંવાર તપાસ કરાવવી જોઇએ.
- પેગફિલગ્રાસ્ટિમ લીધા પછી પેટની ઉપર ડાબી બાજુ કે ખભામાં દર્દ થતું હોય તો તત્કાલ તબીબી સંભાળ મેળવવી, આનાથી બરોળ સાથે સંકળાયેલ ગંભીર આડઅસરો થયાનો નિર્દેશ કરી શકે (બરોળનું ભંગાણ).
- તમને તાવ, ચેપનાં કોઈ લક્ષણો કે ચિહ્નો, ફોલ્લી, ફ્લશિંગ, ચક્કર કે હાંફ ચઢવી અને ફેફસામાં તીવ્ર ઈજા તથા ફેફસામાં ન્યુટ્રોફિલ્સનું સ્થળાંતર (શ્વાસોચ્છવાસની તીવ્ર તકલીફો) થાય તો પેગફિલગ્રાસ્ટિમ લેવાનું બંધ કરવું.
- પેગફિલગ્રાસ્ટિમ લેતાં પહેલાં, જો તમને સિકલ સેલ એનીમિયા હોય, જો તમને લેટેક્સની એલર્જી હોય અથવા એક્રીલિક એડહેસિવ સામે ત્વચાની તીવ્ર પ્રતિક્રિયા થાય તો તમારા ડોકટરને જાણ કરો.
- જો તમે સગર્ભા હોવ અથવા સગર્ભા બનવાનું આયોજન કરી રહ્યા હોવ અથવા સ્તનપાન કરાવતા હોવ તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો.

Q. What is Pegasta Injection? How is it given?
Pegasta Injection belongs to a class of medications called colony stimulating factors. It helps reduce the chances of infections and side effects related to chemotherapy and does not directly treat cancer. It comes as a solution (liquid) to inject subcutaneously (under the skin), 24 hours after chemotherapy. It may be injected by a doctor/nurse in a hospital or you may be shown how to use injections at home
Q. How does pegfilgrastim work?
Pegfilgrastim belongs to a class of medications called colony stimulating factors. It acts on hematopoietic cells (cells in the bone marrow that produce red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets) to increase production of neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) in the body.
