- મહત્તમ શોષણ માટે ભોજન કે દૂધ પછી નાઇટ્રોફ્યુરેન્ટોઇનની ગોળીઓ લો.
- નાઇટ્રોફ્યુરેન્ટોઇનની સારવારથી ચક્કર આવે છે કે ઊંઘ આવે છે એટલે ડ્રાઇવ કે હેવી મશીનરી ઓપરેટ ન કરો.
- જો તમે નાઇટ્રોફ્યુરેન્ટોઇન લો અને યુરિન ગ્લુકોઝ ટેસ્ટ કરાવો, તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો, કારણ કે તેની પરિણામો પર અસર થઈ શકે છે.
- તમે ગર્ભાવસ્થાના છેલ્લાં 2થી 4 અઠવાડિયામાં છો, તો આ દવા ન લો.
- જ્યારે તમે આ દવા લો ત્યારે બાળકને સ્તનપાન ન કરાવો.
- તેને મેગ્નેશિયમ ધરાવતી એન્ટાસિડ્સ સાથે ન લો.

Q. How long does Nitrofur SR Tablet take to work on a UTI?
Nitrofur SR Tablet starts acting quickly, but you will not start feeling better immediately after taking it. It may take a few days (2-3 days) before you see any improvement in your symptoms. If you do not start feeling better within 3 days of starting Nitrofur SR Tablet or your condition worsens, contact your doctor. It is important to complete the full course of Nitrofur SR Tablet as advised by your doctor, even if you start feeling better.
Q. What happens if you take Nitrofur SR Tablet without food?
You should take Nitrofur SR Tablet with your meal or straightaway after the meal. Taking with food helps in absorption of medicine so that it works better. If you take it without food, you are likely to get an upset stomach. The symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and loss of appetite may also occur. Therefore, to avoid unpleasant side effects, take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Q. Does Nitrofur SR Tablet make your urine orange?
Nitrofur SR Tablet may turn your urine brown or dark yellow in colour. However, you need not worry as this is usually temporary and completely harmless effect. It will disappear once you stop taking Nitrofur SR Tablet. Consult your doctor if you are not sure or still have any concern, but do not stop taking Nitrofur SR Tablet.
