Meprate tablet કેવી રીતે કાર્ય કરે
મેડ્રોક્સિપ્રોજેસ્ટિયોન, પ્રોજેસ્ટોજેન્સ નામની દવાઓના સમુહની દવા કે જે પ્રોજેસ્ટેરોન નામની કુદરતી સેક્સ હોર્મોનની જેમ કામ કરે છે. આ અમુક વિશેષ ટ્યુમરના વિકાસને ધીમો કરી શકે છે જે હોર્મોન પ્રત્યે સંવેદનશીલ હોય છે. એક ગર્ભનિરોધક તરીકે એક ઇંડાને સંપૂર્ણરીતે વિકસિત થવા અને અંડાશય માંથી મુક્ત થતાં અટકાવે છે, તમારા ગર્ભની દીવાલમાં પરિવર્તન કરે છે અને ગર્ભમાં પ્રવેશદ્વાર પર મ્યૂકસને જાડુ કરે છે જેનાથી ગર્ભધારણ થવાની સંભાવના ઓછી થઈ જાય છે.

Q. How does Meprate 2.5 Tablet work? What is it used for?
Meprate 2.5 Tablet works similar to the progesterone hormone naturally produced by the body. It helps in regulating the periods, stopping irregular bleeding and for controlling the withdrawal bleeding in case of amenorrhea (unusual stopping of menstrual periods). It is also used to prevent endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the lining of the uterus) in women who are taking conjugated estrogens.
Q. When and how to take Meprate 2.5 Tablet?
Take it strictly as advised by your doctor. The number of doses and the duration will depend on the medical problem you are being treated for. You can take it with or without food, preferably at the same time of each day to ensure consistent levels of medicine in your body.
Q. What if I miss to take Meprate 2.5 Tablet?
Ideally, you should not miss any dose during any treatment. Missing a dose may increase the likelihood of breakthrough vaginal bleeding or spotting (blood stain). However, if you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the usual dosing schedule.
