લોટેપ્રેડનોલ ઓફ્થાલ્મિક કાર્ટિકોસ્ટિરોઈડ નામની દવાઓની શ્રેણી સાથે સંબંધ ધરાવે છે. આના કામ કરવાની સચોટ પદ્ધતિ ખબર નથી. તે કદાચ અમુક વિશેષ પ્રોટીન (ફોસ્ફોલાઇપેઝ 2 ઇન્હીબિટરી પ્રોટીન)ને પ્રેરિત કરે છે જે પ્રોસ્ટાગ્લેડિન અને લ્યૂકોટ્રાઇન જેવા અન્ય સંયોજનોને બનતા અટકાવે છે જે સોજા વધારે છે. જેના પરિણામે, એના ઉપયોગ થયેલ જગ્યાએ લાલાશ, સોજા અને ખંજવાળથી રાહત મળે છે.

Lotesol 2 Eye Drop belongs to a group of medicines called steroids, also known as corticosteroids. It is used to relieve swelling, itchiness and redness of the eyes that may be caused due to infection.

Lotesol 2 Eye Drop is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Lotesol 2 Eye Drop too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.

No, you should not stop using Lotesol 2 Eye Drop suddenly without talking to your doctor. You may feel better and your symptoms may also improve before completing the full course of treatment.
