પ્રોજેસ્ટેરોન, પ્રોજેસ્ટિન (માદા હોર્મોન) નામની દવાઓની શ્રેણી સાથે સંબંધ ધરાવે છે. આનો ઉપયોગ હોર્મોન ફેરફાર ચિકિત્સાના ભાગરૂપે ગર્ભાશયમાં એસ્ટ્રોજનના સ્તરને ઓછુ કરીને જે મહિલાઓમાં પ્રાકૃતિક પ્રોજેસ્ટેરોનનો અભાવ હોય એમનામાં પ્રાકૃતિક પ્રોજેસ્ટેરોનની જગ્યએ આનો ઉપયોગ કરી માસિક સ્ત્રાવ લાવવા માટે કરવામાં આવે છે.

Deugest Capsule is used to treat various disorders. It is given to women with secondary amenorrhea (no menstruation for 3 months in women who have had their menses before). It is used to support pregnancy, prevent premature labor, and treat bleeding disorders that may occur before menopause.
