- You have been prescribed Calcitonin (Salmon) to make your bones stronger, and lower the risk of fractures.
- It is used in women with osteoporosis who have undergone menopause.
- It may cause temporary dizziness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Unopened bottles should be stored in the refrigerator. Once opened, they should be stored at room temperature for up to 35 days.
- Stop using it and inform your doctor if you get any nosebleeds or notice any ulceration inside your nose.
- Discontinue Calcitonin (Salmon) and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.

Yes, an unopened bottle of Calnasal Nasal Spray need to be refrigerated. It should be kept at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. After opening the bottle of Calnasal Nasal Spray, store it at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C.

Yes, Calnasal Nasal Spray can reduce the levels of calcium in the blood. If the calcium levels in your blood drop down severely then it can present with numbness or tingling in your fingers, toes, or around your mouth.
