ગાઉટ અને કિડનીમાં પથરી ની સારવારમાં Alkacitral Liquid નો ઉપયોગ કરાય છે
Alkacitral syrup કેવી રીતે કાર્ય કરે
તે કિડની દ્વારા યુરેટ્સના ફરી શોષણને (પેશાબમાથી લોહીમાં ફરી પ્રવેશ) અવરોધીને કાર્ય કરે છે જેથી યુરિક એસિડનું વિસર્જન વધે છે અને સાંધામાં યુરેટ ક્રિસ્ટલના જમાવને અટકાવે છે. તે કિડની દ્વારા પેનિસિલિન જેવા ચોક્કસ એન્ટિબાયોટિક્સને દૂર (લોહીમાંથી પેશાબમાં વિસર્જન) કરવાનું અટકાવે છે જેથી તેનું વિસર્જન વિલંબિત થાય છે અને લોહીમાં સંકેન્દ્રણ વધે છે.

પેટમાં ગરબડ થતી અટકાવવા ભોજન પછી વધુ પ્રમાણમાં સાદા પાણી કે જ્યુસ સાથે દવા લેવાની સલાહ અપાય છે.
જો તમને તીવ્ર કિડનીના વિકારો એટલે કે, પેશાબ બહાર ઓછો નીકળવો, સોડિયમ-પ્રતિબંધિત આહાર, લોહીમાં સોડિયમનું ઉંચું સ્તર હોય તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો.
જો તમને દવા લીધા પછી શ્વાસ લેવામાં મુશ્કેલી જણાય, અથવા લોહીમાં કેલ્શિયમના ઓછા સ્તરો, લોહીમાં ઉંચું દબાણ, હ્રદયની સમસ્યાઓ (એટલે કે હ્રદયના અનિયમિત ધબકારા, હ્રદય નિષ્ફળ જવું), કિડનીનો રોગ, પાણી પ્રતિરોધણને કારણે પગની ઘૂંટી/પગ/પગની પાનીઓમાં સોજો હોય તો તબીબી સંભાળ મેળવવી..
સગર્ભા હોવ અથવા સગર્ભા બનવાનું આયોજન કરી રહ્યા હોવ અથવા સ્તનપાન કરાવતા હોવ તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો.
જો ડિસોડિયમ હાઇડ્રોજન સાઈટ્રેટ અથવા તેના કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્ત્વ પ્રત્યે એલર્જીક હોય તો દર્દીઓને આપવી જોઇએ નહીં.
લોહીમાં પોટેશિયમના ઉંચા સ્તરો, રક્તાવરોસૂચક હ્રદયની નિષ્ફળતા, હ્રદયનો રોગ અથવા તીવ્ર કિડનીની સમસ્યાઓનો ઇતિહાસ હોય તો, અથવા તમે ડીહાઇડ્રેટ થયા હોય તેવા કેસમાં દર્દીઓને આપવી જોઇએ નહીં.
સગર્ભા અને સ્તનપાન કરાવતી સ્ત્રીઓએ ડિસોડિયમ હાઇડ્રોજન સાઈટ્રેટ લેવાનું ટાળવું જોઇએ.
તીવ્ર બેક્ટેરિયલ ચેપથી પીડાતા દર્દીઓએ પણ ડિસોડિયમ હાઇડ્રોજન સાઈટ્રેટ લેવાનું ટાળવું જોઇએ.

Q. How do you use Alkacitral Liquid?
Alkacitral Liquid should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each use. Mix it in a glass of water or juice as advised by your doctor. Avoid taking Alkacitral Liquid on an empty stomach if diarrhea occurs. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to avoid stomach upset.
Q. How long does it take to work?
Alkacitral Liquid taken few minutes to start working and its effect lasts for around four to six hours. Do not skip doses and use it for the duration prescribed by your doctor for maximum benefits.
Q. What if I overdose?
Taking Alkacitral Liquid in more quantity as recommended by your doctor, will not help you recover faster. However, it may only expose you to increased side effects only. Therefore, it is advised that you take it as per the directions given by your doctor and do not double the dose, even if you forget to take your usual dose.
