Tocid injection uses

{med_name} is used in the treatment of vomiting, functional dyspepsia, diabetic gastroparesis and nausea.

How tocid injection works

Tocid 25mg Injection is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger). This increases the movement of stomach and intestines, and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe) as well as nausea or vomiting. Since it modulates the motor function of the gastrointestinal tract, it also improves delayed gastric emptying.

Absence of menstrual periods, Ventricular arrhythmia, Menstrual disorder, Breast enlargement in male, Increased libido, Increased prolactin level in blood, Extrapyramidal symptoms, Weight gain, Sleepiness, Vertigo, Akathisia (inability to stay still), Increased liver enzymes, Constipation, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Sedation, Maculopapular rash, Hypotension (low blood pressure)
