Cinitapride is used in the treatment of heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), indigestion, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome.
How it works
Cinitapride indirectly stimulates the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that can increase the motility of the intestine.
