Flunarizine is used to prevent migraine.

How it works

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Flunarizine works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.

Common side effects

Sleepiness, Weight gain, Muscle pain, Fatigue, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Increased appetite, Depression, Inflammation of the nose, Coordination disorder, Hypotension (low blood pressure), Muscle spasm, Abnormal menstrual bleeding, Essential tremor, Extrapyramidal symptoms, Parkinsonism, Increased liver enzymes

Domperidone is a prokinetic. It works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
