Consuming alcohol while taking Glytrate 6.4mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

How glytrate tablet works

Glytrate 6.4mg Tablet is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its work load, thereby preventing/treating attacks of angina (chest pain).

Glytrate 6.4mg Tablet prevents angina by relaxing the blood vessels so that the heart does not have to work very hard. Also, relaxation of coronary arteries increases the oxygen supply to the heart.
