How flusmile capsule works

Flusmile 60 Capsule is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.

When taken during the last three months of pregnancy, it may increase the risk of a serious condition in babies, called persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN). In this condition, the baby breathes faster and appears bluish. These symptoms usually begin during the first 24 hours after the baby is born. So, it is advisable not to use Flusmile 60 Capsule during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.
