No, Fentisafe Softgel is neither an antibiotic nor a steroid. It belongs to the imidazole class of antifungals. It is used to treat candidiasis (thrush) occurring in the vulva and vagina.

Yes, Fentisafe Softgel can damage condoms and diaphragms (barrier method of contraception), thereby affecting their efficacy. Therefore, instead of using these, you can use alternative methods of contraception such as contraceptive pills.
Q. How should Fentisafe Softgel be used?
Fentisafe Softgel should be used strictly as per the doctor’s advice. The usual dose of Fentisafe Softgel is one applicator full in the morning and one applicator full in the evening for 3 days. Your symptoms may disappear quickly, but it is important that you continue using the cream for 3 days.
