DESCRIPTION
Fungal infections of vagina, also called candidiasis, are caused by the yeast Candida albicans. The yeast naturally lives in the vagina but can multiply when conditions are right and cause the infection. The condition can cause inflammation, itchiness and a thick white vaginal discharge.
