It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penile region, which increases blood flow upon sexual stimulation, thus facilitating an erection. In cases of BPH, it relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder.

You should immediately consult your doctor if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, or dizziness. Also, contact your doctor if you experience prolonged erections greater than 4 hours and painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration.
