Epitril 0.5mg Tablet is prescribed to help control certain seizure disorders, including absence seizures, myoclonic seizures, and Lennox–Gastaut syndrome. It is also used in adults to manage panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia. The medicine calms excessive electrical activity in the brain, which helps reduce seizures and panic attacks.
Q. Does Epitril 0.5mg Tablet make you sleepy? If yes, can I drive?
Yes. Drowsiness, sleepiness, dizziness, and slowed coordination are among the most common effects of this medicine. It can also affect concentration and memory, and these effects may continue the following day. You should not drive, operate machinery, or do tasks requiring alertness until you know exactly how the medicine affects you. If persistent sedation occurs, consult your doctor.
Q. Is Epitril 0.5mg Tablet a sleeping pill?
No. Epitril 0.5mg Tablet is not a sleeping pill. Although it causes sedation and may help with sleep temporarily due to its calming effect, it is not approved specifically for insomnia and should not be used as a routine sleeping aid.

Yes. Epitril 0.5mg Tablet can lead to dependence, especially with long-term use or higher doses. Misuse (taking it in ways not prescribed) and abuse increase the risk of addiction and overdose.
