{med_name} is used for pain relief. It relieves pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, dental pain, gynecological pain, and painful and inflammatory conditions of the ear, nose, and throat.

Acezo 200mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

  • Avoid alcohol while taking it, as it may increase the risk of stomach irritation, ulcers, and drowsiness.
  • It may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
  • Stop taking Aceclofenac and seek medical advice if you notice black/tarry stools, vomiting of blood, or severe stomach pain.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, kidney disease, or liver problems before taking this medicine.
  • Seek medical advice if rash, swelling, or signs of an allergic reaction occur while taking Aceclofenac.
  • Use it for the shortest duration necessary and consult your doctor if pain persists despite treatment.
  • Take Aceclofenac exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and avoid prolonged use unless advised. Long-term or excessive use may increase the risk of stomach bleeding, kidney problems, or other serious complications.

No, Acezo 200mg Tablet does not get you high. It does not have an abuse potential (drug-seeking behavior) and does not cause physical or psychological dependence. However, if you do not feel well, consult your doctor.

Q. Can Acezo 200mg Tablet hurt your kidneys?
Long-term use and high doses of Acezo 200mg Tablet may cause renal problems, such as protein or blood in urine and pain during urination. Patients who had or have heart failure, impaired kidney function and hypertension are at risk of kidney problems. The risk of developing kidney problems is also high in patients who are on medicines which cause excess urination (diuretics), or medicines which have significant impact on kidney function. Along with that, Acezo 200mg Tablet can affect kidneys of patients who are above 65 years of age or who remain dehydrated. Therefore, kidney function monitoring is recommended for such patients.
Q. What if I forget to take a dose of Acezo 200mg Tablet?
If you forget a dose of Acezo 200mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose in the prescribed time. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
Q. Does Acezo 200mg Tablet make you drowsy?
Acezo 200mg Tablet can cause drowsiness and also dizziness, fatigue (tiredness) and visual disturbances. However, it is not very common and may not affect everyone. If you experience these symptoms avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
Q. What is the most important information I need to know about Acezo 200mg Tablet?
It is important to know that Acezo 200mg Tablet may increase your chance of having a heart attack or stroke. The risk is more if you take higher doses and have been using the medicine for a longer time. Also, the use of Acezo 200mg Tablet may cause ulcers, bleeding, or holes in your stomach and intestine. These problems may happen without warning symptoms at any time during treatment and may even cause death. Therefore, if you encounter any such problems, consult your doctor immediately.
Q. Can Acezo 200mg Tablet be taken during pregnancy?
You should not take Acezo 200mg Tablet during the last 3 months of pregnancy as it may cause harmful effects on your baby. Use of Acezo 200mg Tablet can also lead to reduced labor (premature delivery). Hence, it is advised to avoid using Acezo 200mg Tablet during the first 6 months of pregnancy also. In some cases, Acezo 200mg Tablet may be prescribed in pregnant women only if the benefits outweigh the risks involved with its use in pregnant women.
