- உங்கள் உணவிற்கு 30 நிமிடங்களுக்கு முன் Ondansetron-ஐ உட்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.
- Ondansetron-ஐ உட்கொண்ட பிறகு 30 நிமிடங்களுக்குள் வாந்தி எடுத்துவிட்டால், அதே அளவை மீண்டும் உட்கொள்ளவும். வாந்தி தொடர்ந்தால், உங்கள் மருத்துவருடன் கலந்தாலோசிக்கவும்.
- Ondansetron குறுகிய காலத்திற்கு பயன்படுத்துவதாக இருந்தால் அதாவது 6 -10 நாட்கள் என்றால், பக்க விளைவுகள் ஆபத்து சிறிதளவாக இருக்கும் (நன்றாக சகித்துக்கொள்ளக்கூடியது).

Q. What is Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup used for?
Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup is generally given before any major surgery or before chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions. In case your child is about to undergo any of the above procedures, the doctor may ask you to give Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup to your child to prevent vomiting post-procedure. Apart from this, Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup is also found useful in treating vomiting caused due to diseases of the stomach. In such a case, your child’s doctor may prescribe giving Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup to your child for a few days. Stick to the dose for best results.
Q. What if my child takes too much Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup?
Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup is unlikely to cause harm if you give an extra dose by mistake. However, you must still speak to your child’s doctor immediately. Sometimes, excessive intake of Ozotron 2mg/5ml Syrup can cause some serious side effects like excess sleepiness, agitation, rapid heartbeat, hypertension, flushing, dilated pupils, sweating, involuntary muscle jerk, uncontrolled eye movements, overactive reflexes, and seizures. These symptoms are collectively known as serotonin syndrome. If any of these appear, consult the doctor without any delay.
