  • Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine because it can make some side effects worse.
  • Drink enough water and take extra care during exercise or hot weather to avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated.
  • Keep your regular follow-up appointments while taking Quetiapine. Your doctor may check your weight, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglyceride levels during treatment, as this medicine can cause these changes.
  • Seek medical attention for high fever with severe muscle stiffness and confusion, as these may be signs of a serious reaction.
