- Dabigatran Etexilate increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects or engaging in contact sports (e.g., football and wrestling).
- If you are going to have a surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Dabigatran Etexilate temporarily.
- Your doctor may get a blood test done to check kidney function before starting treatment with this medicine.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Do not stop taking the medication without talking to your doctor.

Q. When should I take Dablexa 75 Capsule?
Mostly, Dablexa 75 Capsule is suggested to be taken twice daily at the same time each day. The two doses should be taken at a gap of about 12 hours.
Q. Can I drink alcohol with Dablexa 75 Capsule?
Taking alcohol while taking Dablexa 75 Capsule can increase the effect of this medicine, thereby increasing the chance of bleeding. Regular intake of alcohol can lead to a gastric ulcer which might again cause bleeding. So, it is better to avoid alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Do consult your doctor if any such episode of bleeding occurs.
Q. Can Dablexa 75 Capsule cause hair loss?
As compared to other blood-thinning medications, Dablexa 75 Capsule does not usually cause hair loss. However, there do exist some rare reports of hair loss associated with Dablexa 75 Capsule. Consult your doctor if you face hair loss while taking Dablexa 75 Capsule to rule out any other causes of hair loss.
