Zerostat Spacer Device is a chamber into which you release the medicine from your inhaler. It holds the medicine so that you get the time to inhale medicine comfortably. The Zerostat VT spacer also allows the medicine to reach the lungs with minimal deposition in the mouth or throat. The Zerostat VT Spacer is fitted with a unique FlowGate valve, and has been designed to help you obtain the full benefit of the medicine released from your inhaler. The transparency of the Zerostat VT Spacer helps you to see the dose released in the spacer.

- It is also called a holding chamber and is used to hold the medication for a few seconds after it has been released from the Metered-Dose Inhaler (MDI)
- Best to be used with a Cipla inhaler
- Permits the airways to open making it easier to breathe and removing symptoms of problems like asthma, such as wheezing, cough, tightness in the chest, and shortness of breath
- Reduces the amount of drug that is deposited in the mouth and throat, which can lead to infection and irritation in the oral cavity
- Static-free device - Being static-free results in much higher drug deposition and enhances the effectiveness of MDI therapy
Directions For Use:
- Remove the mouthpiece cover and shake the MDI inhaler before use
- The mouthpiece of MDI should be fitted into the end of the Zerostat Spacer
- Breathe out as possible and then put your mouth over the mouthpiece of the chamber
- Press down on the top of the inhaler to release a dose of drug into the chamber of the Spacer
- Through the oral cavity breathe in until the lungs are filled and for a few seconds hold the breath in then breathe out
- In case of the second dose, repeat the above steps otherwise remove the inhaler and breathe normally and rinse the mouth properly

- It is recommended that the Zerostat VT spacer should be replaced with a new one after 6 months of use

- Do not clean with boiling or hot water
