Directions For Use:
- Insert the insulin cartridge into the pen
- Prime the pen before injecting. There must be no gap between the cartridge and the top part of the pen
- Check the dose knob and see that it is set to the proper dosage amount that is needed
- Push the injection button down. Do not try and change the dose while injecting with insulin
Safety Information:
- Do not use the insulin pen for more than 3 years after the first use
- Contact the healthcare provider for information about proper injection technique before using TouStar
- Do not reuse needles
- Do not remove insulin with a syringe
- Read the instructions for use carefully before using the device
- Do not store the pen in the refrigerator between injections
- Keep away from sunlight
