Similac Advance Follow-Up Formula Stage 4 Powder is a spray dried infant milk substitute for new born babies from 18 to 24 months. Similac Advance is iron-fortified feeding formula with nutrient composition clinically shown to support infants’ growth and development.

Product Form: Powder

Directions for Use:
  • Thoroughly wash the feeding bottle or bowl, nipple, cap, and utensils to be used in preparing the feeding
  • After rinsing soap from the utensils, boil them for 5 minutes
  • In a separate pan, heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool to lukewarm
  • Pour the correct amount of lukewarm, previously boiled water into the sterilised feeding bottle or bowl
  • Fill the enclosed scoop, then scrape level with the straight edge of the knife
  • Standard reconstitution is one packed scoop (approximately 5.1 g) powder for each 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water or 149.1 g of powder mixed with sufficient water to yield 1 Litre of product. Infants above 6 months should receive supplemental food in addition to formula. Consult your baby's physician for advice
  • Mix until completely dissolved
  • Test the temperature and feed. After feeding, discard any unused formula within 1 hour

Storage:
  • After opening the pack, the contents should immediately be transferred to an empty, clean, and dry airtight container
  • Replace the lid tightly after every use and store in a cool, dry place
  • Ensure the enclosed scoop is thoroughly washed and dried before use
  • After opening, use the contents within 3 weeks or the expiry date, whichever is earlier

  • Infant Food/ Infant Milk Substitute should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use
  • Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Infant food is not the sole source of nourishment for an infant
  • Use prepared feed within half an hour; otherwise, microbial deterioration may set in. Discard unused feed

Only prepare one feed at a time. Feed immediately and follow the instructions exactly.
