My Life Penfine Classic Pen Needle | Diabetes Monitoring Devices
Product Details
My life Penfine Classic Pen Needle / Diabetes Monitoring Devices can help inject the insulin into the subcutaneous fatty tissue (subcutaneous injection) and not into the underlying muscle. Injecting insulin into the muscle can lead to unexplained fluctuations in blood glucose values as well as severe hypoglycaemia. It has a fine 32G cannula for precision, easy glide with silicone surface, anti-coring for a smooth injection, a structured design, optical control with viewing windows, secure fit with universal twists, extra thin wall cannula for optimised drug flow, colour coding for length identification. The needle profile tip is 3-bevel.

Uses:
It is used to inject insulin

Product Specifications & Features:
  • Short pen needles for safety: Short pen needles reduce the risk of inadvertent injections into the muscle
  • Simplified injection technique: These needles simplify the injection technique, often allowing injections at a 90-degree angle without forming a skin fold (children, adolescents, and slim adults should form skin folds)
  • Improved medication flow: A Larger inner diameter with an unchanged outer diameter improves medication flow through a greater flow rate
  • Reduced injection force: Due to the larger inner diameter of the cannula, less force is required when pushing the injection button
  • Supports higher concentrated insulins: Supports the simple delivery of higher concentrated insulins at 200 Units/mL
  • Easy glide and smooth penetration: Special silicone surface treatment enables constant gliding characteristics and smooth penetration
  • Structure of a pen needle: External protective cap, sealing film, inner protective cap, needle, and needle hub for a comprehensive design
  • Optical control and viewing windows: Needle hub with viewing windows for additional optical control and easy removal of the inner protective cap
  • Universal twist for secure fit: The universal twist can help secure the pen needle for ease of use
  • Extra thin wall cannula: Extra thin wall cannula optimises drug flow for efficient delivery
  • Colour coding for identification: Colour coding facilitates simple identification of different pen needle lengths

Directions for Use:
Use as directed

  • After each use, attach the pen cap and store it at room temperature
  • Protect it from water, dust and moisture
  • Handle the lupulin pen with care
  • Change the needle after each use
  • Alternate the sites of insulin injection
  • Do not massage the injection site/use alcohol swab

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Why is it important to check the insulin flow and prime before every injection?
Priming ensures that the pen and needle are working properly. A primed pen ensures, insulin flow from the needle. If not then you may not get the accurate amount of insulin.
