Lukoskin Ointment is a research product of DRDO that is curated using potent herbs. It is helpful in the management of skin conditions and in promoting melanin synthesis. This ointment is enriched with rare selected herbs from the Himalayas that helps relieve blister, the formation of blisters and reduce irritation.

  • Activates melanin synthesis: It helps in the releasing of SH-group bound copper as free copper, which activates tyrosinase activity
  • Modulates immunity: Modulates immunity regarding both non-specific cellular and humoral immune responses
  • Exerts photosensitisation: The ointment helps to initiate erythema on the spots due to its furanocoumarin contents on exposure to UV light or sunlight

Directions For Use:
  • Apply gently on the spots once or twice a day
  • Expose the area after application of the ointment to the sun either before 11 a.m. or after 3 p.m., starting from 6 minutes with an increment period of 2-3 minutes per week till it reaches 30 minutes of exposure time

  • Avoid acidic (sour) foods, citrus fruit (viz. Lemon, apple, mango, grapes, tomato, amla, pickles, chilli, curd, lassi, whey, fine flour (maida)
  • Cut non-veg diet and fast foods
  • Avoid beverages and cold drinks
  • Avoid chemical-based detergents/soaps
