Role of active ingredients:
Kalmegh contains diterpenes, and flavonoids that has hepatoprotective activity and relieve symptoms of jaundice.
Katuki acts as a potent liver stimulant, in higher doses, and acts as purgative.
Kasmardha and Kulikhara is used in the treatment of amoebic dysentery, and has mild liver stimulant property.
Benarmool acts cooling agent, tonic and blood purifier, used to treat many skin disorders, it is also used in the treatment, indigestion and loss of appetite.
