Product Details
Bos Medicare Surgical Soft Cervical Collar
Bos Medicare surgical neck collar can be used for minor neck injuries like strain, sprain and automobile whiplash. Night-time use along with daytime use of semi-rigid or hard collars. Soft foam collar with unique contour and fine resiliency offers warm comfort and a snug fit around the neck. Fine, knitted fabric cover absorbs sweat and remains skin-friendly.

Uses:
Cervical spondylosis is a condition caused by wear and tear of the neck's cartilage and bones. A cervical soft collar is used for supporting, immobilizing or adjusting the neck in an elevated position and is recommended where a partial or controlled immobilization of the cervical region is required.

Product Specifications and Features:
  • Perfect elasticity, breathable material and ideal support
  • Easy to use, comfortable and non-threatening
  • The unit is lightweight for carrying away from home, making it ideal for travel
  • Easy to wear, universal design with wide coverage
  • This cervical neck traction is designed to maintain the natural curve and alignment of the neck for your health
  • It improves blood supply to neck muscles, tendons, and ligaments
  • You can use this cervical heating belt simultaneously with a neck massager for pain and stress relief regularly for consistent results
  • A soft cervical collar can help with neck pain and stiffness caused by cervical spondylosis
  • A soft collar supports the chin and minimizes the muscle contraction needed to keep the head upright. It doesn't immobilize the neck, but it does limit flexion and extension
  • For minor neck injuries, cervical collars should be used for comfort on a limited basis. Extended use can make neck pain worse and stiffer over time
  • A cervical collar may cause temporary relief from pain caused by cervical spondylosis — an age-related condition that's caused by wear and tear of cartilage and bones in the neck

Directions For Use:
  • Measure the distance between the lower jaw and the edge of the sternum with the neck in a neutral position
  • In general, when wearing a cervical collar, it's best to move instead of resting or sitting too much
  • Gentle movement, like walking, can help prevent your neck muscles from stiffening up. Stiff muscles may prolong your recovery

Safety Information:
  • Ensure the collar's trough matches the chin
  • Wrap the collar around the neck snugly
  • Fasten the hook loop closure to a comfortable snug fit
  • Keep the head and neck in a neutral position
  • Do not bend the neck forward, backwards, or sideways
  • Be very careful not to move the neck while putting on the collar
  • Make sure the collar is the correct size
  • Look for the groove in the top of the collar, which will fit under the chin
  • Soft cervical collars are the least restrictive, allowing the closest to normal range of motion. They are often used for moderate neck pain
