Concitor 10 Tablet contains torsemide, a loop diuretic that works by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the kidneys. This action increases urine production, helping the body eliminate excess salt and water. As a result, it reduces fluid buildup in tissues (edema) and decreases blood volume, which helps lower blood pressure and reduce the workload on the heart.

- Monitor your blood pressure after starting Torasemide, and notify your doctor if it does not lower down.
- Consult your doctor if you experience dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that does not go away.
- Take potassium supplements or a potassium-rich diet (such as bananas, spinach, or coconut water) as Torasemide can decrease your potassium levels and lead to dehydration.
- You may be asked to get regular blood tests done to monitor your kidney function.
