हाइड्रोक्सीकार्बामाइड, कोशिका की मौत का कारण बनने वाले एक राइबोन्यूक्लियोटाइड रिडक्टेज इन्हिबिटर के रूप में कार्य करके कोशिका विभाजन के एस-चरण के दौरान डीएनए संश्लेषण की रोकथाम का कारण बनता है। यह एस-चरण विशिष्ट है। हाइड्रोक्सीकार्बामाइड, कोशिका की मौत का कारण बनने वाले एक राइबोन्यूक्लियोटाइड रिडक्टेज इन्हिबिटर के रूप में कार्य करके कोशिका विभाजन के एस-चरण के दौरान डीएनए संश्लेषण की रोकथाम का कारण बनता है। यह एस-चरण विशिष्ट है।
