Susten 400 Soft Gelatin Capsule का इस्तेमाल महिला बांझपन (गर्भवती बनने की असमर्थता) और हार्मोन रिप्लेसमेंट थेरेपी (एचआरटी) में किया जाता है इसका इस्तेमाल सेकेंडरी एमेनोरिया (माहवारी ना आना) से पीड़ित महिलाओं में माहवारी को लाने और नियमित रखने में किया जाता है।

प्रोजेस्टेरोन, प्रोजेस्टिन (मादा हारमोन) नामक दवाओं की एक श्रेणी से सम्बन्ध रखता है। इसका इस्तेमाल गर्भाशय में एस्ट्रोजन के स्तर को कम करके और जिन महिलाओं में प्राकृतिक प्रोजेस्टेरोन का अभाव है उनमें प्राकृतिक प्रोजेस्टेरोन की जगह इसका इस्तेमाल करके माहवारी लाने के लिए हारमोन बदलाव चिकित्सा के एक भाग के रूप में किया जाता है।
