सेक्निडाजोल, एक संक्रमण रोधी दवा है जो नाइट्रोइमिडाजोल नामक दवाओं की एक श्रेणी से सम्बन्ध रखता है। यह रोग या संक्रमण पैदा करने वाले सूक्ष्म जीव के ऊर्जा उत्पादन को रोकने का काम करता है जिससे उनकी मौत हो जाती है।

Secnil Forte Tablet works best when taken at the prescribed dose and duration recommended by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Secnil Forte Tablet too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
Q. What if I forget to take a dose of Secnil Forte Tablet?
If you forget a dose of Secnil Forte Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose at the prescribed time. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one, as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
Q. Why is it harmful to drink alcohol while using Secnil Forte Tablet?
Alcohol should be avoided while taking Secnil Forte Tablet. Moreover, you should avoid alcohol for at least 2 days after finishing the complete course. Drinking alcohol can cause an unpleasant reaction (disulfiram reaction) with symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing, or redness of the face.
