SA Rapid 1mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas which prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

  • For best results, take Repaglinide 15 to 30 minutes before a meal.
  • You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with Repaglinide

SA Rapid 1mg Tablet starts working 30 minutes after it has been taken. After you take SA Rapid 1mg Tablet, the insulin levels increase causing a decrease in the blood sugar levels. The effect usually lasts for 4 hours.
Q. Can I take alcohol while I am taking SA Rapid 1mg Tablet?
No, you should avoid alcohol while taking SA Rapid 1mg Tablet since alcohol interferes with the working of SA Rapid 1mg Tablet. You may experience signs and symptoms of low blood sugar levels which include weakness, shakiness, cold sweat, cool pale skin, rapid heartbeat, tremors, extreme hunger, dizziness, headache, and anxiety.
Q. Can SA Rapid 1mg Tablet be taken with other antidiabetic drugs?
Yes, it can be taken with other antidiabetic drugs but according to your doctor’s advice. But since all these drugs lower blood sugar levels, regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is recommended.

Q. Can I continue to breastfeed while taking SA Rapid 1mg Tablet?
No, you should not breastfeed your baby because if SA Rapid 1mg Tablet passes in breast milk, your baby may experience low blood sugar levels which is harmful to your baby. Ask your doctor for advice.
Q. Do I need to stop clopidogrel if I am taking SA Rapid 1mg Tablet?
You should inform your doctor and take his advice. If you cannot avoid using clopidogrel with SA Rapid 1mg Tablet, take 0.5 mg SA Rapid 1mg Tablet before each meal. The total daily dose should not be more than 4 mg. Monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently.
