Prometil 5mg Tablet मस्तिष्क और आंत में डोपामाइन रिसेप्टर को अवरुद्ध करने का काम करता है जिसके कारण उबकाई आती है और उल्टी होती है। यह स्किज़ोफ्रेनिया में अधिक खुराक पर, विचारों और मिजाज को प्रभावित करने वाले कुछ विशेष मस्तिष्क क्षेत्रों में डोपामाइन को अवरुद्ध करने का काम करता है।

Prometil 5mg Tablet is used to treat mental disorders like schizophrenia. It is also used to treat and prevent nausea, and vomiting.It may be used to treat anxiety (short-term) in certain cases where other anti-anxiety drugs have been ineffective. It is also used to treat nausea, vomiting, dizziness or spinning sensations (vertigo) due to Meniere's disease.It belongs to a class of medication call phenothiazines. It acts on the central nervous system by blocking certain receptors thus producing an anti-psychotic and anti-vomiting effect
