- Ondansetron को अपने भोजन से 30 मिनट पहले लें।
- यदि आप Ondansetron को लेने के बाद 30 मिनट के भीतर उल्टी कर देती हैं तो एक बार फिर से उतनी ही दवा लें। यदि फिर से उल्टी होती है तो अपने डॉक्टर को सूचित करें।
- यदि Ondansetron का इस्तेमाल कम समय के लिए, जैसे 6-10 दिन तक, किया जाता है तो साइड-इफेक्ट का जोखिम कम से कम (अच्छी तरह सहने लायक) होता है।
- यदि आपको टैबलेट या कैप्सूल निगलते समय उबकाई आती है तो आप Ondansetron के ओरल डिसइंटीग्रेटिंग फिल्म/स्ट्रिप (औषधीय पत्ती जो गीली सतह के संपर्क में आने पर घुल जाती है) रूप का इस्तेमाल कर सकती हैं।

Q. What is Ondy Oral Drops used for?
Ondy Oral Drops is generally given before any major surgery or before chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions. In case your child is about to undergo any of the above procedures, the doctor may ask you to give Ondy Oral Drops to your child to prevent vomiting post-procedure. Apart from this, Ondy Oral Drops is also found useful in treating vomiting caused due to diseases of the stomach. In such a case, your child’s doctor may prescribe giving Ondy Oral Drops to your child for a few days. Stick to the dose for best results.
Q. What if my child takes too much Ondy Oral Drops?
Ondy Oral Drops is unlikely to cause harm if you give an extra dose by mistake. However, you must still speak to your child’s doctor immediately. Sometimes, excessive intake of Ondy Oral Drops can cause some serious side effects like excess sleepiness, agitation, rapid heartbeat, hypertension, flushing, dilated pupils, sweating, involuntary muscle jerk, uncontrolled eye movements, overactive reflexes, and seizures. These symptoms are collectively known as serotonin syndrome. If any of these appear, consult the doctor without any delay.

Ondy Oral Drops should be stored at room temperature, in a dry place, away from direct heat and light. Also, keep all the medicines out of the reach and sight of children to avoid any accidental intake.
