Loxum 2 Tablet is a benzodiazepine that works by enhancing the effect of a natural chemical in the brain called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA has an inhibitory effect on brain activity, helping to calm excessive nerve signals that contribute to anxiety. Binding to specific sites on the GABA-A receptor, Loxum 2 Tablet increases the receptor’s response to GABA, leading to a sedative, anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), and calming effect. This mechanism helps relieve symptoms of anxiety disorders by reducing feelings of nervousness, agitation, and restlessness.
