Kaziflur Eye Drop एक गैर-स्टेरॉयड सम्बन्धी सूजन-रोधी दवा (नॉन-स्टेरॉयडल एंटी-इंफ्लेमेटरी ड्रग अर्थात् एनएसएआईडी) है। यह कुछ विशेष रासायनिक संदेशवाहकों को मुक्त होने से रोकता है जिनके कारण बुखार, दर्द और सूजन (लाल होना और फूलना) होता है।
फ्लुर्बिप्रोफेन, नॉन-स्टेरॉयडल एंटी-इन्फ्लामेटरी ड्रग्स (एनएसएआईडी) नामक दवाओं की एक श्रेणी से सम्बन्ध रखता है। फ्लुर्बिप्रोफेन एक लम्बे समय तक रहने वाला दर्दनाशक और सूजन रोधी प्रभाव डालता है क्योंकि यह एंजाइम साइक्लोऑक्सीजनेज (कॉक्स) को रोककर दर्द पैदा करने वाले केमिकलों (प्रोस्टाग्लैंडीन) के उत्पादन को कम करता है।
