अक्रोटाक कैप्सूल कैसे काम करता है

शोधकर्ताओं को ठीक से मालूम नहीं है कि अक्रोटाक 10 MG कैप्सूल सोरायसिस में असल में कैसे काम करता है।
एसिट्रेटिन, विटामिन ए का ही एक रूप, रेटिनोइड, नामक दवाओं की एक श्रेणी से सम्बन्ध रखता है। एसिट्रेटिन, सोरायसिस में दिखाई देने वाले केरटिनाइजेशन (वह प्रक्रिया जिसके द्वारा त्वचा की कोशिकाएं उनके भीतर एक प्रोटीन जमा होने के कारण मोटी हो जाती हैं) और अत्यधिक कोशिका वृद्धि को रोकने में मदद करता है। इस तरह यह त्वचा को मोटा होने, प्लाक बनने और शल्क उतरने की सम्भावना को कम करता है।
