Acicet 800mg Tablet का इस्तेमाल हर्पीज लेबियलिस (होठों की सीमा के आसपास घाव), हर्पीज जोस्टर (छाती और पीठ की नसों के आसपास दर्दनाक त्वचा लाल चकत्ते), शिंगल्स, जननांग दाद संक्रमण और चेचक / छोटी माता में किया जाता है

यह विषाणु डीएनए की प्रतिकृति को बाधित करता है, जो विषाणुओं की वृद्धि तथा संख्या वृद्धि के लिए आवश्यक होती है। शरीर के भीतर विषाणुओं के प्रसार को रोकता है।
